After connecting a partner integration from Integrations > Notifications with chat available in the Appointment Calendar and the visit window in Altegio, complete the additional setup.
Important
Additional settings will be available only after you connect an integration with chat functionality in Altegio. At the moment, chat support has been implemented by our partners — Integrilla; soon it will also be available from Fromni, Flowsell, Message.Help, and others. You can find the full list of partners in Integrations > Notifications.
Auto-saving new clients #
After enabling auto-saving for new clients, new client contacts will be saved automatically to the client database. You will be able to quickly filter them using the Chat leads segment.
This segment will include clients with no visits who have messaged in chat for the first time. These clients will also be assigned the Chat lead category.
To enable: #
- Go to Settings > Main settings > Appointment Calendar.
- In the window that opens, in the Chat with client block, check the box Save new clients from chat to the client database with the Chat leads category, then save the settings.
After that, a new segment Chat leads will appear under Clients > Client database. To filter clients, click the Chat leads segment and then click Search.
These clients will also be assigned the Chat lead category.
Note
If you create a visit for a client with the Chat lead category, they will disappear from the segment.
If, for some reason, a client has no name in the messenger, they will be saved as No name.
If you disable auto-saving for new clients, the Chat leads segment will not disappear, and all existing leads with categories will remain there — but new clients with new messages will no longer be saved to the client database.
In addition to auto-saving new clients, you can set up pop-up notifications about new messages.
